# Limitations of Existing Digital and Crypto Payment Solutions

Digital and crypto payment solutions introduced the promise of addressing some of these challenges but have introduced new limitations. Scalability remains a critical concern, with many decentralized platforms struggling to process transactions efficiently across diverse Blockchains and various ecosystem tokens, including stable coins. This inefficiency often results in delayed user-to-merchant transactions, undermining the reliability and appeal of crypto payments.
